FROM THE SERIES OF THE BOOKS OF MEMORY THE DESERT XX

My memory is condensed in the artist book, a sort of accordion folding from small to large format that is read like a sketch and that offers multiple interpretations: it can be extended like a story or presented in fragments depending on how it is opened. The method is a continuous search for the anatomy of the landscape. The main theme of my work is nature, it can be the animal or plant world, a strong and at the same time tremendously vulnerable world, a microcosm in a macrocosm of the different forms of nature as elements interwoven like networks, that breathe, extend, and transform.

Patricia Henríquez She is a visual multidisciplinary artist. Her experimental animated short films have been screened at festivals, museums and cultural institutions at America, Europe and Asia. She has exhibited individually in museums and cultural institutions in Mexico and cultural institutions in Spain,China and USA and Canada. She has participated in over 90 collective exhibitions and biennial in museums in Mexico, Dominican Republic and in cultural institutions in China, Germany, Spain, Italy, Slovakia, USA, Bolivia and Bulgaria and Puerto Rico.
