From my window

At night the city slows down, the colors and smells change. I peek out the window looking for emotions. I observe the buildings in front of me and the streets around me, I see intersections of lines, lights and shadows. This project was born as a challenge. I took the gamble, looking for inspiration in the place closest to me, my home. It is in the night that I found the right environment to tell my emotions. The reflections, moments of chaos, the cars that whizz by as fast as time, and then waiting for the traffic light to turn green, time stops and darkness envelops thoughts.

My name is Monica, I have lived in various Italian cities, for 12 years I have lived in Prato, Tuscany. I have always taken photographs, since I was a child, but only in recent years with more awareness and passion, studying and spending most of my free time.
