The allegorical image is devoted to Marius Petipa and represents him as «the architect» of the unique choreography which has become the symbol of Russian ballet. Seven abstract figures are standing motionless in a ballet step and a viewer brings the dance composition into life by moving around it. Each one is perceived from a certain perspective, when the three curved lines, like three glossy flowing ribbons are placed one over another.
