    The Image Within

    This is a mixed media installation which is designed to surprise! Part film, part painting it will focus on a section of the Thames which is constantly on the move. The camera and projection do not switch off. Over the duration of the show I shall paint in elements of the live camera image directly onto a large canvas. Only by interrupting the projection will the painting be made visible. The work is playful but it also questions preconceptions about the transience of the moving image and the permanence of paint.
