Pure materials and organic shapes help create an other-worldly atmosphere within the new waffle store BLUB located in Stuttgart. Here, Interior and Product Designer Daniele Luciano Ferrazzano blends futuristic elements, such as untreated aluminium with soft and warm touches of purple-tinted walls, upholstery, and acoustic panels. A minimalistic aesthetic is achieved by infusing the idea of the crisp and soft appearance of waffles and patterns which reflect waffle irons. The custom-made furniture celebrates the natural beauty of shiny untreated aluminium in a subdued, yet playful and young way.

With the intention of reflecting his philosophy in all projects, Daniele
Luciano Ferrazzano founded STUDIO DLF in 2009. Today, the award-winning
product designer works in the field of furniture and interior design,
achieving a uniqueness by balancing the main essences of good design:
simplicity and emotionality.
With roots in Italy and studies in Germany, a mixture of rational and
functional German Bauhaus and the Italian thirst for experimentation and
formal ease is reflected in his works.
