    This project will create a celebration through B&W images of the Cuban people and their commitment to leveraging their personal skills to make better lives for themselves & their families. Everyone in Cuba earns their base income from the government. Due to the modest amount it comes to, nearly everyone in Cuba also has a side hustle which provides cash for both necessities and luxuries. In responding to their personal needs and the political direction taken by their leaders, they are the precursor to what has in the U.S. recently flourished & been dubbed the “gig” economy.
