    This work is an investigation of the fragility of life, specifically the process of entropy. The global Covid pandemic, in addition to my own aging process and personal loss, has heightened my awareness of the transitory nature of existence. I wanted to frame this investigation through the lens of the human form in relationship with Gaia, the beautiful dance between them. Holly Boruck lives and works in the Los Angeles area. She received her MFA in Painting from Cal State University Northridge and a BFA from California College of the Arts in San Francisco.
