    Yarn is a response to my first-hand experience of metropolitan cities. Each vessel has been bounded with yarn when soft, bending and pushing porcelain to achieve an elegant, sophisticated and minimalistic resolution. It aims to stimulate conversations about growing up in urbanity, how it shaped us. The vases visually encapsulate the stranger, less familiar and more candid aspects of what it means to exist as a human. The marks and grooves punctuate the face of each vase while yarn bundles vases together, depicting ideas of relationship and connection.
