    The Uchinoniwa house redefines the sense of distance between its residents and with society. In order to adapt to the changes in society and lifestyle, we created a garden as the courtyard of the house. This space is characterized by the four elements of “inner approach,” “inner extension,” “inner separation,” and “inner connection,” which create the optimal sense of distance between its residents and with society within a single residential household.
