    A series of illustrations for a delightful book for kids and YA, called My Name is Cinnamon, and a book cover spread, that is a colorized version of one of the illustrations inside. There are a total of 12 such illustrations inside the book, 10 single and 2 double spread. The brief to the designer was to design something rooted in Indian culture, playful and fun while at the same time appropriate for the age group concerned. It must recall the books we read as children and evoke mischief, curiosity and a sense of warmth. Illustrations are done in black and white.

    Vikas Prakash Joshi is an-award winning writer, editor, translator, podcaster, public speaker, novelist, amateur cook and occasional journalist in Pune, India. His first book for children, My Name Cinnamon (Hay House India), was published in November 2022 , and it has been lauded all over the world, in over 30+ countries, endorsed by many top Indian writers, and received 7 publishing offers. It has been recognized 12 times already since publication.
