    Makina Raum_I is built and made to look like a tank. Its case design, finished with an interplay of gloss and brushed surfaces, is designed to appear premium and aggressive at the same time in both shape and size for more wrist prominence and unique masculine style when worn. Under the domed sapphire crystal is an unconventional 3 dimensional dial with embossed metallic indices for odd hours and with even hours marked by concave shapes that carve into the dial, graced with unexpected gold plated hands that echo its gold colored movement. Raum_I was intently designed to be a true toy for boys.

    Danilo Villanueva is an adman, product designer and entrepreneur. He has been in the creative advertising industry for over 15 years with international experience working in multinational agencies like TBWAChiatDay Los Angeles, Saatchi Los Angeles, Leo Burnett Dubai, BBDO Beijing and MRM/Mccann New York. He's built local and global integrated campaigns for major brands like BMW, Mercedes-Benz, General Motors, Toyota, Emirates Airlines, Cartier, VISA, Enfamil, Tencent, etc. He is also the Founder and Creative Director of Makina Watches, a watch company born in the Philippines.
