    For this project we were gifted an insightful look into a culture not previously explored. Romanias brutalism seen in architecture across the country, guided us in creating this introductory design for Romanian company Arbore. The Cannoli highlights the core wooden elements so often hidden behind upholstery and celebrates the materiality and form it could create. Cannoli challenges the look of traditional sofa construction by externally wrapping the cushioned elements in an exposed experimental bent oak structure, utilising the signature oak used by Arbore in a new and innovative way.
