It is a series of illustrations for the book 'the Kojiki: Japanese Records of Ancient Matters'. This chronicle encompasses diverse Japanese myths, legends, hymns, and anecdotes. There isn't a single central character-the book traces histories of numerous deities and humans. I've depicted unrelated stories from all three parts, including the tale a Maiden emerging from a vast marshland; Female of Hades ; an emperor who lived 168 years and died in the Year of the Tiger; Susanoo killing the Deity of Great Food; a tale of a princess dancing with her lover, who transformed into a bird.
