Ball Point

The drone allows you to play with figures and shadows to create perspectives we can’t ordinarily see. Taken with the drone in the portrait setting allows greater control of this. With the ball placed on the ground and creating the illusion of the shadow balancing the ball, is a true collaboration between photographer and subject.

Bio
We are a mother & daughter drone photography team that launched in 2020 with the onset of Covid & with the opportunity of briefly living together. Lucy is an architecture graduate from the University of Melbourne, winning the Bates Smart Medal Graduate prize for her final year thesis. She is currently working as a graduate architect for Foster + Partners in London. Sarah is an artist in the acrylic medium, finding inspiration from everyday life. We both share a passion for art, architecture, design & photography, drawing on each other's strengths to develop ideas & execute images from above
