Through my photographic series of churches in the winter prairies of Saskatchewan, I sought to capture the essence of human faith and the isolation that often accompanies it. Each image represents a different facet of the human experience, from the decay of abandonment to the stoic strength of perseverance, from the anticipation of a congregation's return to the juxtaposition of new growth and death.
