Boxing is a dangerous yet popular sport, and with very high payouts, comes competition. As such, the margins between winning and losing can be extremely small. Float is an intelligent mouthguard, that aims to make boxing more objective by using built-in sensors to record when, how often, and how powerfully a boxer is hit. This technology can be utilized to record punches and will help referees make informed decisions, improving both fairness and safety. Additionally the metamaterial lattice structure takes on the challenge of producing a more comfortable, breathable, and customizable design.
