This book is an annotated collection of photographs I took when I accompanied the twin survivors of Josef Mengele's dehumanizing medical experiments on a journey to commemorate the 40th anniversary of their liberation. This journey took us to Auschwitz death camp to capture a stolen childhood and honor family members long gone;to Yad Vashem in Jerusalem for a public hearing on Mengele's crimes; to Terre Haute, IN for an Inquest to review evidence of Mengele's death; and to gatherings of the twins and beyond. It is a unique collection that I am proud to submit to the lICC.
