    I lived with a family in Tapera, Brazil, and immersed myself in their daily life. I felt as if I were in a novel by Isabel Allende or Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I experienced moments where the harshness of life merged with the magic of their smiles and kindness, making every form of social difference disappear. I felt like part of their world, and I will carry this magic with me forever.
