    In Empty Nest, we follow the story of Belle, an anthropomorphic owl girl navigating a world of other birds. Within this art and story I wanted to bring the idea that all of us artists face, accepting who we are and moving forward with the path that we desire for ourselves. This story also focuses on the perspective of the parents who are raising their newly hatched daughter. Unsure yet supportive of the role that she is going to play in life. Empty Nest is meant to reach out to those who have similar stories, for the artists and for the people who need to support those artists.
