Most concert-goers do not wear hearing protection. Many music events are 100dB, and exposure to that sound level for just 15 minutes risks hearing damage (Donoughue, 2018). The Love Your Hearing campaign aims to garner attention, educate, and encourage the target audience to consider the consequences of their choices, with a view to normalising the wearing of hearing protection at loud music events. Reference: Donoughue, P. (2018, March 3). We sent Double J’s Zan Rowe to get a hearing test. Here’s what happened. ABC News.https://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-03-03/zan-rowe-hearing-test/9493406
