Celebrating the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, the Port of Portland reimagined the Main Terminal as a walk in the forest. Uniquely PDX - the America’s Best Airport, transcends complexities of travels and creates a sense of wonder inherent in regional ethos – biophilic, calming, resilient, and restorative. A park-like, with 70 large natural trees and 5,000 cascading plants under the stunning locally sourced 9-acre mass timber roof, strategically offers wayfinding. Oregon-inspired landscapes digital artworks complete the immersive experience welcoming all to the Portland’s newest destination.
