Through aggressive actions of cutting, tearing, and deformation, I aim to challenge the perfection of the machine. This piece represents my completely spontaneous and unrestricted self-expression. My goal was to create a sculptural object with a strong, dynamic structure that delves into the symbolic darkness of our current times. The title "October Rose" is intentionally conscious and unambiguous. The object's form—a whirling circle filled with anxiety and dominated by dark colour—paired with the poetic title, "October Rose," invites the viewer to contemplate and assess the times we live in.
