"Home Far From Home" is more than a photo book; it’s a 12-year exploration of identity, displacement, and resilience, chronicling five decades of Iranian migration to America. I designed it to create a visual rhythm that echoes the emotional flow of Hossein’s photographs, letting each image stand as its own story. Illustrations serve as thoughtful interludes, enriching the narrative by capturing the broader emotional essence of the immigrant experience. The goal was to craft an intimate and layered portrayal of the Iranian diaspora’s nuanced journey.
