Silent witnesses This project reflects on the historical, political, and social changes shaping our cities, starting from Genoa but extending globally. In my search for beauty, I found solace in the faces around us—reassuring, judgmental, suffering, sensual, and metaphysical. Statues, caryatids, putti... I discovered them in buildings, gardens, and squares. Through double exposures, I give them a voice. They’ve witnessed great achievements, now contrasted with our consumerism, bankruptcies, and haste. What stories would they tell? What do they think of us, as they endure while we rush by?
