This portfolio, called “The Mansion at 13 Skeleton Drive,” began with photographs taken of Halloween skeleton displays at local mansions. To purport to explain the images would be at cross-purposes with my aims in making them, but I hope that the viewer will “hear” echoes of the lives of individuals and of society, and of realities beyond either.
