These images are from a project I shot at Coventry Swimming Baths in the UK, just before it closed for good. ‘Cov Baths’ was opened in 1966 as part of the post-war rebuild of Coventry City and was a much loved place used by generations of Coventry families over the years. It was where I learnt to swim as a child and when I found out it was closing, I managed to get access for one whole day with my team to shoot some work. The title "Long Way To Fall" was coined when, flanked by my assistant Massimo, I was hanging precariously from the 10m diving board, gingerly snapping the models below.
