Despite being a prominent part of the global community, people with disabilities have to face constant social oppression & negative attitudes from others as a result of ableism Break them apart! is a critical design project that questions the norms, biases and oppressive views of ableism. It aims to create space for the audience to stop and reflect on their actions With its satirical tone & visuals, the series of 21 posters and accompanying publication—aimed at people without disabilities—breaks audience expectations, pushing them to understand the multiple facets of living with a disability.

Saurav Harsh is a Communication and User Experience Designer focused on finding relevant social issues to work on, with a critical approach. Saurav strongly believes in empathy and the freedom to express with creativity. He's driven to figure out ways that target a focused audience and yet has the potential to expanded and include a larger and more diverse range.
