The book A Peça Intocada (The intact piece) talks about the moment in which a piece of chess has not yet been touched and the possibilities and choices we make before making a decision. In this sense, the illustrations on the cover and inside the book express that idea, capturing the exact moment that anticipates the touch to the piece and the making of a decision, illustrated on different chess movements. In addition, the letters on the cover were placed symmetrically as in a chess board.
