Female artists such as Frida Kahlo, Georgia O'Keeffe and Louis Bourgeois have inspired myself and many other women artists around the world to truly love ourselves. These female artists give women empowerment. They teach us to accept and love ourselves, and to express ourselves unapologetically.

I created my work by using extensive research on the history of women artists. I used the work of the featured artists as well as portraits to create a multimedia portraits of Frida Kahlo, Georgia O'Keeffe and Louis Bourgeois.

This series of Female Art Portraits represents the women artists who have taught us to love and accept ourselves as the wonderful women we are. As a female artist I hope my work can give the inspiration and strength I was given from these artists to future female artists.
