Design TeamBorn and raised in Mumbai, India, Gauri Chopra began her career in 2002, when she transformed herÂ
childhood hobby of photography into her passion as a self taught nature and commercial photographer.Â
In 2010 Chopra graduated with a BA in industrial scientific photography from the prestigious
Brooks Institute of photography in Santa Barbara, California.Â
This newly acquired knowledge of scientific techniques changed Chopra’s perspective towardsÂ
photography, after which she started her commercial career in New York.
In the midst of her commercial journey she realised that her art itself was calling for a larger purpose. A purpose to create more value by scaling her art and sharing the knowledge with
others. “Art itself is a passionate journey, hence art can create awareness and value only when it is
accessible to the worldâ€.
In the search for creating more awareness of the artist within herself, in 2014 Chopra discovered the
ocean through her lens, after which she quit her commercial work and dedicated 5 years of her life to
studying and capturing the wonders of our oceans and its inhabitants in the Indian ocean.
In the process, while scuba diving she further studied the benefits of the power of observation,Â
and began her journey towards creating spiritual art through her personal experiences with the help ofÂ
meditation and sound.
This artwork has been created by meditating on the ultimate healing mantra from the Indian Vedic philosophiesÂ
which Chopra grew up with, and which eventually became her way of life. She used this mantra to plantÂ
pure intentions in the heart of the universe to heal our environment, and created this art to reflect  herÂ
visions and journey during her meditation.Â
According to the Indian edic science, within the concept of the multiverse lies our universe, which is made up of 24 elements (Tattva’s) andÂ
64 main dimensions. All 64 dimensions have different versions of us (higher beings) who have been using theirÂ
minds and bodies to create and preserve earth. Each clan of higher beings, be it warriors, chanters, sportsman, yogi’s etc, use their energies to creatively plant pure intentions to preserve and constantly nurture our unique piece of art called Earth.Â
We are ethereal beings with higher intelligence and we are going through the Human Experience. We created the earth out of sheer boredom while dwelling /traveling in empty spaces for trillions of years. Ironically this very imposter called "boredom" has also led us to destroying our environment (our only heaven called Earth).Â
Sound used to create the artwork is called the Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra. The purpose of this mantra is meant for healing and rejuvenation
