Structured Life is a metaphorical project illustrating how I interact with my parentsï¼›buildings are equivalent to my life structure control by my parents. I am very interested in architecture and family psychology because of my parents deep influence. The project is a series of digitally photographed buildings and refined photo collages, based upon contemporary office buildings in the San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle and Shanghai, and ancient buildings in Tokyo. I create a break in the buildings that is integrated in my photos to make complex images with repetition and distorted perspectives with chaos. Long exposure and transparency reflect a feeling of illusion with flow.
