This simple detached house with its individual façade naturally blends into the surroundings. Many components in this house come from recycling. All wooden elements – both on the façade and in the interior – come from demolition. Carefully crafted by a retired carpenter, they were renewed and given a second chance: As a façade, as indoor wooden cladding, as furniture, or as steps. Even the glass elements of the terrace canopy are reused. This not only saves costs, but also saves resources. Thanks to good thermal insulation and passive solar solutions, the house is also economical in Operation.
