    The series 'You will always Be' comes from repeated distortion of the entire pixel content of a photographic abstraction of water in fusion with light. The process led to subconscious creation of secondary images that I see as a vision of existence in the form of a perpetual interactive flow of energy.
    Quasi-figurative imagery points towards both physical and energetic evolution. It alludes to our embryonic beginning, emotive, cerebral and metaphysical interactions, physical demise and the release of our energy and essence back into the universe on an infinite journey through time and space.

    Mercedes Parodi is a British photographic artist, based in London and Aix en Provence, France, who explores through connective light-driven imagery humanist and existential themes.
