Change is the Only Constant

'Change is the Only Constant' elucidates the enchanting life cycle of a butterfly from being an Egg to becoming a Caterpillar, to transforming into a Chrysalis, and ultimately flying off as a breathtaking Butterfly. I used hand-painted Rorschach and thread painted patterns to digitally develop a black light reactive print, along with resin-casted butterfly heels, to portray the inevitable yet magnificent stages of its life. Through all my collections, my aim is to work towards a cruelty-free and equitable fashion system by using 100% vegan materials to produce all the end products.

Bio
Shikha is a Fashion & Accessory designer born and brought up in India. She completed her bachelor's in Fashion Design from New Delhi, India, and then moved across the globe for her higher studies. She is now approaching the end of her master's degree in Accessory Design from Savannah College of Art & Design, USA, and is excitedly looking forward to starting her professional journey very soon!
