As print media starts to disappear, I imagine a future where museums of words are created for people to visit, a place where magazines, newspapers, and printing presses will be on display. This photo is part of a photography series that merges photos of people looking at words in print.
Bio Cetywa Powell is a photographer and filmmaker. Powell has been published in the New York Times and has exhibited at the Museum of Flight in Seattle. Additional recognitions include honorable mentions in the 2019 Fine Art Photography Awards, 2018 Moscow Foto Awards, 2017 MonoVisions Photography Awards, 2016 and 2015 International Photography Awards, and the 2016 ND Photography Awards. She was also a 2016 finalist in the Shoot the Frame portrait contest, a 2013 National Geographic Daily Dozen selection, and a 2019, 2017, and 2014 National Geographic Editor's Favorite Pick.
