    In this project, the history and public space are combined. We preserve the vintage walls of the old dormitory for the journey of storytelling. The end of the literacy pathway is decorated with the spiritual symbol of the park, where the 100-year-old tree, the wall adjoining Street and the square reciprocally constitute the best place for community interaction. The Japanese-style courtyard, accompanied with many literary activities, reproduces the courtyard scene in Japanese occupation era. The open “Literary Square” is accessible for outdoor lectures and literary activities.
