We are blind to obesity!

The concept for this project was to create a compelling double sided piece of work to show how people who are obese are up to ten times more likely to develop eye-damaging complications; Age-related Macular Degeneration, Cataracts, Glaucoma & Diabetic Retinopathy. The inspiration was taken from an eye exam chart & a phoropter, allowing the two pieces to be connected through the word OBESITY on each side. An additional creative element on the darker side within the phoropter was to have reflective paper placed in each silver circle showing any person looking back while reading the information.
