    'Do we buy art now' Within the western society we tend to protect and insure our relatively luxury lifestyle under any circumstance. The painting 'Do we buy art now?' speaks to the need to protect that very lifestyle. An eternal battle between the rich and dark black as opposed to the light and warm yellow can be found layer after layer building up this painting to what it has become.
