Project: Adaptive Re-use Single Room Occupancy Designing an adapted re-use SRO apartment building within the existing structure located on the corner of Central Ave. and Newark Newark, NJ, USA. Before opening a door, most people might expect a certain space behind a wall. Dot. Newark studio apartments show the city's characteristic that effortlessly create different atmospheres throughout the building. Though different, they are linked with the same idea that this is a hideout for the residents. This hideout shows a distinct difference between public and private areas through proxemics.
