    I explore intersections of photography and contemporary art to reveal rich palettes, patterns, layers, and textures. The Colour Series and the Reappearance series each start with well-known camera techniques (ICM, DoF) and use layering to create images that reference artistic styles and techniques. I am interested in intersections of photography and contemporary art as I explore unseen and abstract elements, creating fragmented painterly images. The Reappearance Series is based on 100+-year-old photographs and the Colour series starts with papers and coloured films, layered on glass shelves.
