Swingin 60

This is a small installation art object (1000 x 1000mm) served as a gift to a renowned architect Dr. William Lim for his 60th Birthday. It's a plywood board with refined nail working around the edges. Each 2 nails represent a year of time and it's connected to the spinning wheel at the centre. It begins with a pure white string from "0" (at 12 o'clock position) representing the year he was born and followed with 33 years of colourful strings representing his fruitful life experiences. No string is attached to the last two nails to represent the eternity of his life. This is his "wheel of life"

Bio
Wesley Liu is very well-known in creating harmony and warmish style interiors at all scale. After graduated with a Master degree in Design from the College of Fine Art, University of New South Wales in 2007, having worked with a celebrated architectural firm, he founded his design studio PplusP Designers Limited in 2009. Within the years, his works have received numerous accolades, including the Best of Year Award (US), American MasterPrize (US), International Property Awards (UK), Design for Asia Award (HK), Perspective and A&D Trophy Awards (HK) and Asia Pacific Interior Design Award – APIDA
