Prince Smart in Kyoto Sanjo
To ensure the success of the project, GARDE drew inspiration from Kyoto's traditional architecture, the 'Kyo-machiya', and implemented the conceptualisation, basic planning, basic design and supervision of the project, with the entire five-storey building as a 'modern machiya'. The lobby, check-in and restaurant are integrated using ICT and AI technology. The space was created under the theme of ' Onkochishin',(learning from the past) involving artists associated with Kyoto to create a highly functional and unique space.
