'The World of Stonehenge’ is the UK’s first ever major exhibition on the story of Stonehenge and the first time over 430 ancient objects from across Europe are being displayed together. Dramatic lighting, sound and graphics create an immersive, sensory and moving environment, connecting visitors to people of the Stonehenge era. Plinths are designed to look like natural features in the landscape, while media engulfs the gallery to convey the power and significance of the sun. The exhibition ran in the British Museum's 1,100 m2 special exhibitions gallery before touring to several UK locations.
