    'all is built on sand' depicts abstract landscapes captured by a digital apparatus. These conceptual sceneries represent various renderings of time and space of an unknown location and reflect the ephemeral shape of the environment.

    Bio
    Aurélie Crisetig (b. 1992, Vevey, Switzerland) is a photographer and art historian based in London. She uses photography to explore the alteration of human memory in a world overwhelmed by digital entities. Her works reflect the constant use of visual mechanical recordings in everyday life. Working with film and digital photography, her practice explores urban landscapes and public spaces. Aurélie has a BA in Art History and Film Studies, an MA in Photography from UAL, and an MA in History of Art and Archaeology of East Asia from SOAS.
