    The clash within the harmony

    Light and water conceive the life. The lights become my subject in this series – they not only act as an element that constitutes photography as an art medium. I create a universe in the pictures that addresses my understanding of the philosophical concepts of Relativity, Change, and Harmony. The light interacts with the water, and the shape of the water and its shadow changes unceasingly in each photograph. The photographs present the inseparable relativity of light, water, and its shadow. Eventually, they unite as a whole in harmony.

    Bio
    Peng trained as a painter at a young age, then studied visual art of Chinese traditional theatre at Shanghai Theatre Academy and M.F.A Photography at Savannah College of Art and Design. His focuses on the understanding of the philosophical concepts of Relativity, Change, and Harmony, and expresses personal sentiments through the artworks. Peng’s photographs exhibit internationally, as well as awarded the winner of Gold, Silver, Bronze medals, Photographer of the Year and Best of Best Photographer. His artworks are in collections at Swatch Art Peace Hotel, SCAD (USA & France), and collectors.
