The Earth, as photographed from Mars, was nothing more than a small dot, just like how we see distant stars.
The solo exhibition "Inside a planet, now" began with the idea of shedding the modern scientific perspective that perceives the relationship between the stars and myself as a separation (a line), and instead viewing it as a reflection of the microscopic dots (elementary particles) that make up my inner being.
In that sense, the soles of the feet in Foot Painting represent the contact points (dots) that connect the internal and external worlds.
