RAINBIRD TALES - TALL TALES ABOUT ANIMALS AND NATURE FROM FINLAND "Rainbird Tales" is a series of short social fables written by Marita Rainbird. She wrote the stories out of love for nature and interest in human behavior. The fables are about farm animals and their dreams and fears as well as about their struggle for freedom, fame, love, belonging and acceptance in our modern society. Many of the characters are based on real people and animals. The fables, spiced up with warm humor, have several layers: action and lesson for younger readers, things to reflect on for more mature ones. Marita is now in the process of developing a storytelling concept including a series of interactive "Rainbird Tales" eBooks for senior citizens and people with memory loss and their caregivers.
